Many ask us about our name. The answer: real barbecue smoke, when done right, should have a faint blue haze. That haze signals a clean, even fire—just the way we like it.
Founded in 2012 by pitmaster Jason Dornbush, Blue Haze Barbecue began as a catering company rooted in southern-style smoking traditions. Over the years, we’ve added a food truck and built a strong following across Manitoba. Though our restaurant chapter has closed, our fire still burns through every meal we serve.
