Catering

How can I get a quote?

In order to get you a quote we will need your menu selections which can be found on our website under ‘Catering Menu’. Please select your meats, sides and desserts if desired, along with any special requests, your date, venue and number of guests. Let us know if you want a pickup, drop off, or buffet service.

What services do you provide?

You have a choice of a Served Buffet (with or without plate clearing service), a Pickup from our kitchen, or a Drop off at your location.

Pick Up/Drop Off Service – Food can be picked up or dropped off, hot/cold and ready to serve, in disposable aluminum pans. Disposable plates, cutlery and napkins are provided upon request. A 10% gratuity will be added to the final invoice.

*When picking up, or for a drop off, you will need to provide your own serving tongs/spoons. This eliminates any further back-and-forth following the catering.

On-Site Buffet Service – When an On-Site Buffet meal is selected, staff will set up the buffet, then assist with serving the main entrees on the buffet line, while replenishing food as needed. We do have plate clearing service available upon request. A 15% gratuity will be added to the final invoice. We do not offer any beverage service. Plate clearing service may be added upon request. The fee is $150 per additional staff required as determined by our team, and an 18% gratuity total.

What does the day typically look like?

Food will be prepared in our licensed kitchen and transported to your venue in our insulated carriers to keep food piping hot or cold. We typically arrive 45 minutes prior to the event. Upon arrival, staff will set up food in chaffing dishes on your provided buffet tables. After allowing time for guests to have seconds (or thirds and fourths!), we will promptly remove plates/cutlery from tables (IF THIS SERVICE HAS BEEN REQUESTED), while cleaning up the buffet, and then get out of your way for the rest of the evening’s festivities. Please allow about 1-1.5 hours for dinner service.

What do you need from us?

When we provide an On-Site Buffet service, all we need from you is 3, 6ft buffet tables, preferably with linens. Access to a small amount of potable water would be great. We do not need any electricity.

Can you describe the booking process?

Once you have approved your quote and are prepared to book, we will email you the contract. This will need to be signed (x2), initialed (x1) and returned within 7 days’ time, along with your non-refundable, non-transferrable retainer fee of $250.

What type of dishware do you provide?

We provide heavy duty disposable plates/cutlery, and napkins. We do not provide any glassware. Are you buying dessert through us? Then yes, we would provide a dessert plate and fork or spoon! *When picking up, or for a drop off, you will need to provide your own serving tongs/spoons. This eliminates any further back-and- forth following the catering.

When do you need the final head count?

We need your final head count no less than 14 days in advance please. After this, the number cannot be reduced. There may be some leeway to increase the number, slightly.

How does payment work?

For private events, we accept cash or E-transfer. For corporate events, we also accept cheques and credit cards (3.6% fee). We will require a non-refundable retainer fee of $250. The remainder is due in the week prior to the event, or upon our arrival to your venue, prior to meal service. Food will not be served until payment is received.

When will your staff arrive?

For a simple drop off, we will deliver about 20 minutes prior to the start of your meal service- or whenever you tell us to arrive! For a buffet service, we will arrive approximately 45 minutes prior to mealtime. This will allow staff enough time to get everything set up.

Is there a mileage fee?

Yes. For any delivered meals, this will be reflected in your quote.

What about gluten sensitivities, dietary restrictions and allergies?

All of our sauces and seasonings used on our meats are gluten free, dairy free and nut free, but we are not a gluten/dairy/nut free facility. Many of our sides are gluten free as well. In the case of allergies, we can advise which items may contain these. We will also take care of your vegetarians/vegans!

*We will not make changes to our recipes.

What do you do with leftovers?

In the interest of your health, if we know you have adequate refrigeration on site, we are happy to leave leftovers behind. Keep in mind we typically do carry 5-10% additional food (in case of over attended events)- this is food that is not paid for, and only for emergencies. Leftovers may also be donated to local homeless shelters.
