At Blue Haze Barbecue, we start with top quality meats hand rubbed with our special blend of seasonings.

Then the meat is slow-smoked over select hardwoods for up to sixteen hours in our pit barbeque until juicy and nearly fall-apart tender. Finally, we pair our meat with the perfect complement — our signature BBQ sauces.

Just a few photos and video from yesterday’s #FreedomConvoy2022! What a day it was! 🙌🏼 It was a busy two days preparing for this very spontaneously planned day (on our part). With pulling the food truck out of the snow and finishing some quick repairs, as well as running all around Winnipeg to get all of our food and supplies needed for the day - Blue Haze Barbecrew members Jason and Jordan pulled it off in the end! Blue Haze Barbecue was able to hand out over $3000 worth of our Carolina Pulled Pork Sandwiches to hundreds of truckers and participants with the #ConvoyToOttawa2022! A huge thank you to everyone who came out to show their support and donate both money and food to help make this happen. Blue Haze Barbecue would like to take this time to give a special thanks to a few people: To Jordan’s parents, Brenda and Ward Omichinski - thank you for all of your help the day of the event, especially when it came to crunch time and preparing all of our sandwiches and hand-delivering everything to our truckers directly on the highway (after finding out that the truckers’ entrance into the Flying J was blocked off to all). To Ward, thank you for all of your help with picking up parts in Winnipeg and repairing everything we needed to with our smoker and food truck the night before to make sure that we can even make it to the event! To Jason’s parents, Al and Kathleen Dornbush, thank you for your generous monetary donation to help cover our food costs for the day of this event! To Ron and Shantelle Bachman, thank you for donating your time and coming out to show your support with our Blue Haze Barbecrew. Shantelle, thank you for absolutely killin’ it on the mic with “Oh Canada” at the event and getting everyone in our crowd hyped up! To our suppliers (who asked to remain anonymous), thank you for your donation of all the pork butts we smoked up for the event. In total, we smoked over 170 pounds of pork for the day! To Michelle, thank you for everything that came with organizing this event! We couldn’t have done it without you. Yesterday was an amazing day, and we are so happy to have been a part of it. 💙
